David has over thirty years’ experience in the accountancy profession dealing with owner managed businesses of varying size. His key strengths include developing excellent working relationships with clients and providing hands on cost effective advice and support.
For his sins he is a music and hi-fi enthusiast (Bruce Springsteen’s biggest fan) and a supporter of Manchester United (don’t let that put you off!)
ACA qualified in 1996 (wow when did I get so old?), works part time to balance work and a busy home life with two lively daughters.
Accounts and spreadsheets are in my top 5 favourite pastimes – yes I am that sad!
AAT qualified and studying my ACCA (not long to go!). Self-proclaimed spreadsheet guru & whiteboard queen. Mother to Brian (my fur baby), Disney addict & keen socialite.
AAT qualified accounting technician, love to spend time at the stables with my horse, extremely fussy eater unless it is full of sugar!
I have been part of the Finlayson team for the last 11 years. I am half of the dream team that looks after your payroll. My interests are music, movies and travelling when I get the chance!
With over 20 years’ experience in payroll I am the other half of the payroll dream team. Care and attention is our middle name. I love to support our local football team, Huddersfield Town and go to matches frequently with my youngest.
She who must be obeyed – the rock of the office and the Mum of the office. Small and feisty but incredibly loyal, friendly and client focused. Loves her dog and family but not necessarily in that order!
Soon to be taking up the challenge of becoming ACCA qualified. When he’s not hard at work in the office, you’ll be sure to find him working hard in the gym. Major Cinefile & Costa lover (not sponsored).
She’s embarking on the quest to complete her ACCA qualifications – One of the fastest progressing members of the team we have, she has a keen eye for detail. She enjoys long walks with Bruno (her border terrier).
When she’s not out with Bruno, you’ll find her eating out at any opportunity.
Our in house bookkeeper / administrator (two jobs – I know right), which helps considering she’s a little bit of a shopaholic. Brings life into a room whenever she walks in. She enjoys relaxing with her friends and taking regular trips to the spa.
AAT & ATT Qualified-certificate in education – Lives a healthy life style and braves a 5k most mornings (must be mad!!). She leads a busy life – but any chance she can get, you’ll find her skiing down the slopes in Austria.
One of the freshest faces, James is mid-way through his AAT training & is coming into his own.
we don’t know too much about James, But you’ll often find him losing in his local pub quiz, or braving the crossing over the Humber bridge into Hull (which he proudly calls his second home).
The newest member of our team. Kelly is ACCA part qualified and works part time in order to spend quality time with her daughter.
Loves going on long walks on the beach with her loving golden retriever. When she’s not overly busy with home life, she enjoys baking any chance she can get – always supplying the office with Belgium chocolates (which doesn’t help when dieting).
